goridego is a three-part platform that turns guided e-bike rides into a smooth experience for rental shops and their riders. Shop owners publish routes; riders scan a QR code and follow turn-by-turn GPS navigation on their phone.
The problem
E-bike rental shops run 2–3 hour guided rides along fixed circular routes. Today, riders follow static Google Maps waypoints — no real-time guidance, no GPX support, no multi-language instructions. Paid navigation apps like Komoot are built for individual cyclists; they aren't affordable or practical for a shop owner managing dozens of riders a day.
The solution
Rider app (Expo / React Native) — scan the QR code on a poster and get komoot-like turn-by-turn GPS navigation with native Mapbox rendering, spoken directions and offline-friendly maps. Routes auto-save to the rider's account for next time.
Shop dashboard (Vite + React) — draw routes directly on the map or import GPX files and Google Maps links, set multi-language names and per-waypoint instructions, manage billing and credits.
Backend API (Next.js on Vercel) — routes, auth, Stripe billing, Mapbox proxy and webhooks behind a fully typed contract shared by every client.
Plus a rider web app at go.rideguidego.com for riders who don't want to install the app: same poster link, browser-based navigation with spoken directions.
How it works
The shop owner creates or imports a route in the dashboard.
A QR code is printed on a poster or handout.
The rider scans the QR (or types the link) — one credit from the shop's pool is consumed.
Turn-by-turn GPS navigation starts, and the route saves itself to the rider's account.
